Payment

Monarch Escapes Cleaning Service accepts all major credit and debit cards for payment. Card details are securely collected at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.
A temporary authorization hold will be placed on your card one (1) day before your scheduled service for the total service amount. This hold is not a charge.
Your card will be charged after the cleaning has been completed, and you’ll automatically receive an invoice via email once payment is processed.
Unless otherwise specified, valid payment information must be provided and authorized before any service begins. If your appointment is canceled for any reason within a 24hr timeframe the authorization hold will be released in full within 2–5 business days, depending on your bank’s processing times.
Monarch Premium Guarantee Policy
At Monarch Escapes Cleaning Service, your satisfaction is our top priority. We proudly stand behind every service with our Monarch Premium Guarantee, because exceptional results should never be negotiable.
Every appointment concludes with a detailed walk-through inspection, conducted using either our Monarch 360 Surface Accountability Checklist or Monarch Deep Detail Accountability Checklist, depending on the service performed. This ensures full transparency and consistency with every clean.
During the walk-through, clients are encouraged to carefully review each area with their cleaning professional. If any details are missed or require extra attention, our team will gladly correct them on the spot, at no additional cost.
Please take time to inspect thoroughly before our cleaners leave the property. Once the walkthrough is completed and approved, the service will be considered fulfilled.
If a client is not available for the walk-through at the time of service, the Monarch Premium
Guarantee will not apply, and no re-clean will be provided, as we cannot accurately verify whether any areas were left unclean by our team after departure.
For move-out or deep cleaning services, we highly recommend that clients or property representatives be present for the final inspection to ensure all expectations are met during service.

Monarch Escapes Cleaning Service operates on a flat-rate pricing model, which includes a set number of hours allocated for each service type. This ensures that every job is priced fairly based on the estimated time and scope required.
In the event that a service requires additional time due to the size or condition of the property, an hourly rate of $40 per hour will apply beyond the allotted time.
It’s uncommon for our team to exceed the estimated timeframe, but if we anticipate needing extra time to complete your cleaning to our standards, we will always notify you before continuing so there are no surprises.

Cancellations & Rescheduling Policy

At Monarch Escapes Cleaning Service, we understand that plans can change. Out of respect for both our clients and cleaning professionals, we kindly ask that all cancellations or schedule adjustments follow the policy below.

 

1 Notice Requirement
• Cancellations or reschedules must be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.
• Changes made with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in a 50% cancellation fee, billed to the card on file.
2. Same-Day & No-Show Policy
• If our team arrives and is unable to gain access to the property, or the appointment is canceled upon arrival, the full service amount (100%) will be charged.
• Repeated last-minute cancellations may require prepayment for future bookings.
3. Recurring Clients
• For weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly clients, your reserved time slot is held exclusively for you.
• Frequent cancellations or skipped appointments may result in loss of your recurring schedule.
4. Weather & Emergency Exceptions
• If inclement weather or emergencies prevent us from completing your cleaning safely, we’ll reschedule your service at the next earliest availability without penalty.
5. Service Delays
• If our team experiences unexpected delays, you will be notified immediately. We ask that clients allow a 30–60 minute arrival window for each appointment.

Damage & Liability Policy

At Monarch Escapes Cleaning Service, we treat every home and business we enter with the highest level of care and respect. While our cleaning professionals are trained to handle your belongings with caution and professionalism, we understand that accidents can occasionally happen. This policy ensures clarity and fairness for both our clients and our team.

 

1. Pre-Existing Conditions & Fragile Items
• Monarch Escapes Cleaning Service is not responsible for damage to items that were already broken, improperly secured, or in unstable condition prior to our arrival.
• Clients are encouraged to secure or remove fragile, sentimental, or high-value items before service. This includes but is not limited to: artwork, collectibles, electronics, glass décor, and delicate fixtures.
• Our cleaners will avoid handling items that appear unstable or at risk of breaking.

2. Accidental Damage
• In the rare event that damage occurs during service, it must be reported to our office within 24 hours of the cleaning appointment.
• We will review all details, including the cleaner’s accountability checklist and
before/after photos, to verify the claim.
• Verified damages will be handled on a case-by-case basis, and repairs or replacements may be facilitated through our insurance provider when applicable.

3. Product or Material Limitations
• Monarch Escapes Cleaning Service uses professional-grade, eco-friendly non toxic products tested for safety and surface compatibility.
• We are not liable for damage that results from the use of client-provided products or equipment, or from surfaces/materials that cannot withstand standard cleaning procedures.
• If a client requests specific products to be used, written instructions must be provided prior to the appointment.

4. Liability Limits
• Monarch Escapes Cleaning Service cannot assume liability for damage caused by normal wear and tear, improper installation of household items, or unseen preexisting issues (such as loose tiles, peeling paint, or damaged grout).
• Our responsibility for any verified damage will not exceed the total cost of the cleaning performed on that date.

5. Lost or Missing Items
• Our cleaning professionals do not open drawers, cabinets, closets, or containers unless those areas are part of the scheduled cleaning service.
• Monarch Escapes Cleaning Service is not responsible for lost or misplaced personal items that are not secured prior to our arrival.
• If service is rendered requiring the opening of drawers, cabinets, closets, or containers and something goes missing, we will handle all matters accordingly with

Stain and Mold Removal Policy
At Monarch Escapes Cleaning Service, our team uses professional-grade, eco-friendly non toxic products designed to effectively treat common stains and light mold buildup found on tile, grout, and other household surfaces.
While we make every effort to improve the appearance of stained or discolored areas, we cannot guarantee complete removal of all stains, mold, or mildew, as some may be deeply set or caused by long-term moisture damage.
In cases where severe mold growth or advanced staining is present, specialized remediation or restoration services may be required. These conditions fall outside the scope of standard cleaning, and our cleaners are not licensed or equipped to perform professional mold or hazardous material removal.
Our goal is always to provide a noticeably cleaner, fresher, and safer space, while maintaining honesty about what can be achieved within the limits of standard cleaning practices.

Deep Cleaning Policy
For our Deep Cleaning Services, we ask that clients pick up clothing, personal belongings, and clear away cluttered surfaces prior to our team’s arrival. This preparation allows our cleaners to reach and properly clean every surface, corner, and detail included in your deep clean package.

Because of this process, all services are considered final once approved at the time of completion.

Due to the nature of cleaning services and our verification process, no monetary refunds are issued under any circumstance. Our system ensures every service is inspected and approved before completion, allowing both parties to confirm satisfaction on-site.
2. Client Walk-Through Requirement
Each client is invited to perform a walk-through with the cleaning professional immediately following service. During this time, any area needing additional attention will be addressed on the spot, at no additional cost. If the client does not participate in the walk-through or fails to mention concerns at that time, the cleaning is deemed complete and satisfactory.
3. Post-Service Requests
Once the cleaning team has left the property, the job is officially complete. Re-cleaning only applies to areas listed on the accountability checklist and must be addressed during the walkthrough. If a client wishes to receive additional or more detailed cleaning beyond the original scope, we recommend scheduling a The Monarch Priority Clean , where clients can select
specific focus areas for that service.
4. Quality Assurance
All cleaners are trained to complete detailed accountability checklists and take before/after photos to ensure consistency, transparency, and quality.

At Monarch Escapes Cleaning Service, the safety of our cleaning professionals and clients is always our top priority. To maintain a secure and injury-free environment, the following safety guidelines are strictly observed during every service:

Reaching High Areas
Our team is equipped with extendable tools designed to clean certain elevated areas safely while standing flat-footed on the ground. However, for liability and safety reasons, our cleaners are not permitted to climb on furniture, step stools, or ladders exceeding 2–3 steps. Areas higher than our tools can safely reach may not be cleaned.

Moving Large Appliances
We’re happy to clean around and behind appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, and washers when space allows. However, for safety and insurance reasons, our cleaners are not authorized to move or lift heavy appliances. If you would like these areas cleaned, please move the items prior to our arrival.

Interior Window Cleaning
Our cleaners can clean interior windows that are accessible from ground level or by using a 2–3 step ladder. For liability reasons, we cannot clean windows or fixtures located beyond this safe reach range.

Screen Cleaning
Clients who wish to have their window screens cleaned must remove them prior to the service. Our cleaning professionals are not permitted to detach or reinstall window screens due to liability restrictions.
These guidelines ensure the safety of both our staff and your property, allowing us to maintain Monarch Escapes’ standard of excellence while protecting everyone involved.

Move-Out Cleaning Policy
To ensure the highest quality results during your move-out cleaning, we ask that all furniture, boxes, and personal belongings be removed from the property prior to our team’s arrival. This allows our cleaners full access to every surface for a complete and detailed service.
We also recommend that moving activities are not scheduled at the same time as your cleaning appointment to avoid interference with the cleaning process.
If you would like our team to clean behind or underneath large appliances, please have them moved in advance. For safety and liability reasons, our cleaners are not permitted to lift or move heavy appliances or furniture.
